Email [email protected]Getting started
TrueFast is built around a simple timer: choose a goal, start your fast, and edit the record later if your day changes. The free core includes one active schedule, full history, streaks, badges, fasting phase education, widgets, Live Activity, and Apple Watch support.
Common questions
- Is the app free? Yes. The core timer, history, streaks, badges, widgets, Live Activity, and Apple Watch are free forever.
- What does TrueFast Pro add? Optional iCloud sync, unlimited schedules, weight tracking with Apple Health, advanced charts, CSV export, and custom accent colors. The 2.0 TestFlight preview also adds flexible week planning and private routine reviews, included for existing subscribers and lifetime owners.
- How do I restore a purchase? Open Settings → See Pro options → Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that made the original purchase.
- Will sync work if I'm not Pro? iCloud sync is a Pro feature. The free timer, history, and schedule work locally without it.
What’s new in the 2.0 preview?
The new design and features are currently in TestFlight. The public App Store download may look different until 2.0 is released.
Flexible week planning (Pro): in Schedules, choose a day and adjust that fast’s start or take a day off. Save the change for that day while keeping your recurring routine. Reminders follow the adjusted time, and overlap checks help avoid conflicting fasts.
Private routine reviews (Pro): open History → Routine review to compare planned and recorded start times and summarize Easy, Fine, and Hard reflections. Reviews include dates, sample counts, and missing data. Calculations run on your device.
Both features are included for existing Pro subscribers and lifetime owners. Core fasting remains free.
Send feedback or leave a review
In 2.0, open Settings → Send feedback. Choose a topic and write your message. “Include basic diagnostics” is off by default; when enabled, it adds only device type, iOS version, and app version/build. TrueFast does not automatically attach fasting records, reflections, Apple Health data, or account details.
“Review email draft” opens your email app so you can edit the draft before sending. If email cannot open, your message stays in the composer and you can copy the support address or share/copy the message. You can always contact [email protected] directly.
Settings → Write a review opens TrueFast’s App Store review page. Settings → Help & FAQ opens this support page. About shows the app version and build.
Widgets, Live Activity, and Apple Watch
If widgets or Live Activity look stale, open TrueFast once so iOS can refresh the latest timer state. If a widget stays blank, reopen TrueFast and check that the widget is configured for the app. If Apple Watch progress does not update, confirm the watch app is installed and paired with your iPhone.
Sync, Apple Health, and export
Free users keep data locally. Pro users can enable iCloud sync with the Apple Account already signed in on each device; no separate TrueFast account is needed. Use the same Apple Account on iPhone and iPad. Your paired Watch receives updates from your iPhone. Check iCloud status in Settings if sync needs attention. Apple Health and CSV export remain optional.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by the App Store, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple denies a refund and you feel strongly, email support and we'll help where we can.
Data and privacy
How TrueFast handles data is covered in the privacy policy. Synced records live in your private iCloud database and can be deleted from the app. Local-only data lives on your device and can be removed by deleting app data from that device.
Fasting safety
TrueFast is a timer and record keeper, not medical advice. Fasting may not be appropriate for children, teens, pregnant or breastfeeding people, people with a history of eating disorders, or people with certain medical conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before fasting if you are unsure.
