TrueFast
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the TrueFast iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch app and to the TrueFast website. TrueFast is designed to work on device first, with optional services you can choose to enable.
What TrueFast stores by default
TrueFast stores your fasting history, schedules, settings, and related app data on your device so the app can track active and completed fasts, show widgets, and keep your routine available offline.
Optional sync
Sync is optional. If you choose to enable it, TrueFast uses your private iCloud database to keep fasting records in sync across your Apple devices. TrueFast does not operate a separate sync server. If you do not enable sync, the app continues to work locally.
Diagnostics
TrueFast may offer optional diagnostics uploads to help investigate reliability issues. Diagnostics uploads are off unless you choose to enable them or explicitly trigger an upload.
Health, notifications, and Apple platform permissions
Depending on the features you use, TrueFast may request permission for:
- Notifications, to deliver fasting reminders and milestone alerts.
- Apple Health, if you choose to save completed fasts to Health.
- iCloud, only if you choose to enable sync.
In-app purchases
TrueFast includes optional Pro purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. TrueFast receives purchase entitlement status so it can unlock Pro features, but it does not receive your full payment card details.
Website analytics
The TrueFast website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they are coming from. Google sets cookies (_ga and _ga_SZGTXVHZ56) in your browser and receives your IP address, user agent, and referring page. TrueFast does not sell this data, does not use it for advertising, and does not link it to any account or health information.
You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking third-party scripts, or by declining cookies. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The TrueFast app itself does not use Google Analytics.
Advertising and tracking
TrueFast is not built around ads, ad targeting, or subscription funnels. The app is intended to avoid unnecessary data collection; the website uses only the aggregate analytics described above.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
